Benny The Snicker Bat

Hello Play. Create. Grow. friends!
I have been itching to post projects for fall/Halloween…and now I believe the time has come! I present to you:

This is a SUPER easy project that would be good for your children’s classroom, or even as a small Halloween token gift! And to make this even better…I have provided the printable for FREE so all you need are the mini snickers!
Let’s get started!
1. Supplies
Can you believe this is ALL the supplies you need to make this adorable Halloween craft? Most of this you probably already have. Instead of tape you can use glue dots (which I probably would have done if I hadn’t run out.) The main supply here is the Snickers bars. Honestly, the hardest part of this craft was not eating the bat wings! haha

2. Connecting the Wings

This is pretty self-explanatory, but you are going to want to tape the fun size snickers together with tape or glue dots. Glue dots will look prettier, however, Benny the Bat will be covering all of it anyway!

Next, to make sure they are extra secure, I stapled the snickers twice, as pictured on the right.
3. Cut Out Benny Printable and Attach!

I don’t think I need to explain much here- but cut out the printable (which you can download below) and then attach with glue dots or tape. I added to tape pieces to the back of Benny and tilted the snickers upwards to give him angular wings, however you can make them go straight, or down if you would like. You can even add wiggle eyes to make it super whimsical! However, you design him, Benny will surely be a Halloween hit!
