A great addition to spruce up your Easter Decor! Make your own Easter Bunny Peep Banner!
Celebrate Easter and make your own Easter decor in about an hour or two. This Bunny Peep Garland can hang on your mantle, window, or over your front door.
Let’s get started.
- Felt (yellow, pink, blue or purple colors work great)
- Brown craft paint
- Pencil or paint brush
- Ribbon or a strip of fabric
- Sewing machine or glue
- Pen, pencil or fabric marker
- Bunny pattern (I just free handed this as it doesn’t have to be perfect.)
Draw your pattern on your felt several times.
Be sure your fabric is doubled as you will need a front and back.
Save yourself the time and cut two at a time. 🙂
Cut out your traced bunnies from the felt.
Paint your bunny nose and eyes on one side of your bunnies. Tap a brush or the end of a pencil in paint, then tap on bunny for the best results.
Note: If you will be hanging your peeps over a counter top island or somewhere that you will see both sides, feel free to paint a face on both sides.
Painting Tip: Use the eraser end of a pencil to paint the eyes and ears on your bunny face.
Place your ribbon, twine or fabric strip in between two bunnies.
Sew around the perimeter of your bunny peep. You can sew a small seam allowance or a larger one for a whimsical look to your peep. Sandwich the three layers and attach as many peeps as you would like. Spacing is your choice.
Note: If you don’t sew, you can also use glue for this step.
Nothing says Easter like a bunny peep! This Easter Bunny Peep Banner will be a great addition to your Easter decor!
