Getting ready for your 4th of July party and BBQ? Keep your guests happy throughout the day and evening with this easy-to-make sunscreen and bug spray container. No need to worry about too much sun during the day or those nasty mosquitoes at night.
Find a nice sized container and decorate the container with decorative ribbon with a nice sized bow attached to the bucket. Make a sign saying “Sunscreen and Bug Spray” and attach it to your bucket. Fill your bucket with sunscreen for all ages and a can or two of mosquito repellent. Hang your designed bucket on a Sheppard’s hook where your guests can easily find it. They will surely be happy to know that you cared enough to make sure they were protected throughout the day.
If you don’t have a large Sheppard’s hook, find a couple of small ones and place them in pots throughout your garden.
Here’s another idea for you to help you decorate your outdoors and keep your guests mosquito free. Purchase a few mosquito-repelling citronella candles. Spray paint or paint them white. Cut a few decorated ribbon pieces to go around your container and spray adhesive them on to your holder. Decorate the top by tying a piece of jute around the top and make a bow.
