Looking for a fun craft to keep the kids busy over Thanksgiving break, or a fun classroom activity? Make this simple craft your kids can keep all year long on their desks!
-Small Styrofoam ball
-Scissors (not pictured)
-Glue (not pictured)
With a small knife, cut a small portion off the styrofoam ball so it will sit flat.
Cut a slit in the front of the Styrofoam ball about 1/4 of the way back from the front. Careful not to cut all the way through. This is where the turkey’s neck will sit.
Using the brown paint, paint the styrofoam ball.
Allow to dry.
Cut out a wattle, Turkey head, and beak out of construction paper
Using a pencil or pen, creates holes 3/4 of the way back on the Styrofoam ball. Place the crayons into the holes to create the Turkey’s feathers.
Use as a decoration for Thanksgiving dinner!
Creative tip: Put your Turkey on a piece of paper and have family write what they’re thankful for with Turkey Tom’s crayons!
